WEE Care

Philosophy: Our goals at WEE Care are to help children in their physical, emotional, social and spiritual growth. We want to enhance the creativeness and self-confident natures that are forming in each child.

WEE Care is a self supporting preschool program sponsored by First Baptist Church designed to provide ministry and outreach to the children and parents of our community. The program concentrates on the social, emotional, spiritual and physical development of the child. Bible truths, stories and songs are taught, and Christian holidays such as Easter and Christmas are observed.

The WEE Care Director is Trina Ingold. For more information, you may contact the church office at (704) 982-2111.

Registration: Registration begins on the last Monday of January for our church members and current enrollees. Church members are allowed to register first, then current enrollees. On the first Monday of February, all other registrations will be taken. If a class fills up, persons wanting to enroll a child will be put on a waiting list at no cost. Persons on the waiting list are notified as soon as an opening becomes available. At that time, the registration, payment will be made.

WEE Care classes meet from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on scheduled days. WEE Care follows the Stanly County Schools’ student schedule and will not have WEE Care classes when the schools are closed for holidays, vacation days, and teacher work days. WEE Care will be open on early release days.
